Belfast - March 2005

When I went to Belfast, everything wasn't as explosive as it had been in the past. From my presepective, the city seemed relatively safe. But there were areas where I wouldn't really feel safe walking alone late at night though. But I wouldn't have a problem with the central area of Belfast. Suprisingly, Belfast is a very modern city unlike the other cities I have visited in Italy and England. I have been told however, over the last few years there have been many new developments.
