Marseille, France - June 2005 I was a bit disappointed with Maresille as it seemed more laid back and less of a big city when I watched a travel guide on tv. But I had quite the adventure while I was there as the hostel I stayed at was really far from the center and had a strict curfew. I ended up having to climb a few fences sneak in the hostel. I really didn't find that there was too much to see in Marseille so I pretty much just wondered around and took a ride out to some of the nearby islands.
