Cologne - August 2005 Coincidentally it was World Youth Day while I was in Cologne which is this one big Catholic youth gathering where the pope comes to visit. The last one was in Toronto. Anyways, needless to say there were tonnes of people there from countries all over the world. I was actually fearful of not finding a place to stay with so many visitors but I was fortunate. Cologne is famous for its church and there's really not much there other than that.
