Istanbul, Turkey - October 2005 Istanbul was the start of the tour that Curtis, Pam and I signed up for back in London and the final leg of our backpacking trip. It was also our first trip into Asia on this tour as half of Istanbul is in Europe and the other half is in Asia. I was super suprised at how friendly the Turkish people are. At first, I just thought the people were like the Moroccans who were being friendly just for money. But no, the Turkish people I met were just plain friendly.
